Le Yuppie est à la pointe de la technologie avec son Motorola DynaTAC toujours à portée de main (il est important de noter que le premier téléphone portable coûtait $3,995 en 1983 ce qui équivaut à $10,420 aujourd’hui…) Il n’est jamais spotted sans son Walkman en poche quand il parcourt les rues des nouveaux quartiers qu’il est entrain de gentrifier et il est toujours au courant du dernier taux de change nécessaire pour remplir son porte-feuille avide de matérialité. Dans le sixième numéro du Requin Rose on t’invite dans les bureaux de la rédaction pour une tragédie en trois actes où le style, l'argent, la ruse, le gossip et les yuppies règnent.

Welcome to Le Requin Rose Office, where gossip runs and work is never done...

Secretary #1 is always running late. She does aerobics every morning.

Before entering the office, #1 and the Paperboy always have a mandatory photo-shoot.

In the elevator, #1 meets #2.

And tells her all about what she did last night...

In the office, phone calls are taken, meetings are cancelled.

Secrets are told and colleagues are betrayed...

Rumors about the Boss...

The Boss and the Wife are said to come back from vacation today.

Love is in the air..

Or is it?

Their marriage is in shambles...

The Boss spends his nights dreaming of someone else...

Act 2.

The next day, a surprise awaits the Boss at the Office.

Meet the Matriarch reading her son's bullshit.

He seems happy to see her!

She takes him away for a spank.

But he doesn't seem to care.

The Boss seems to think he's still on vacation.

And when he meets the Paperboy in the elevator...

Quickly she goes tell her BFF #2

They have to tell the Wife.

"Your husband fucked the Paperboy!"

The Wife left, the Matriarch disinherited her son, Le Requin Rose was never heard of ever again.
