What can we expect from your mix?
This mix showcases the many facets of jungle music. Whilst I love old skool 90s jungle and hardcore, I wanted to blend those classic tracks with new gen jungle by producers today. If you couldn’t tell, I am obsessed with edits and had to include some of my favourite bootlegs as they definitely have a place alongside old skool jungle. One of my own tracks is in the mix, it’s called "Von Junglist" and is a bootleg of Charli XCX’s single "Von Dutch". I wanted to give the club classic some flavours of the rave for all the hot girl junglists.
Why do you DJ?
After studying classical viola for 2 years It definitely made me fall back in love with music. A big part of that is the constant discovering new music and artists. The journey from finding a track on your laptop in your bedroom to playing it out in front of an audience is so exciting every time. Also after finding performing in front of an audience so difficult during my classical music era, performing within the rave scene has restored my confidence and love for live events.
Set's Moodboard:

How do you create a set?
I find 90% of my music from soundcloud, I honestly just look at some of my favourite producers and DJs likes and go from there- finding other related tracks. But when I’m building a set list, I like to create a long playlist with tracks of the same vibe and just be spontaneous with it.
Your dream B2B?
Honestly I can’t choose one person for this, but if I had to narrow it down to two, it would be Arca and Nia Archives. I would love to play an experimental set with Arca and mash up a jungle set with Nia Archives.
How did you form your musical tastes?
I’ve recently gone through a lot of my mums old CDs from the 90s and discovered a lot of DJs from that. But I love listening to playlists by my favourite artists and watching interviews to find out who inspires them. This has lead me to discovering so many underrated musicians. I also do find a lot of music from mutuals also in the scene, everyone’s always promoting their own tunes as well which I love, I’ve found some amazing underground music from that as well.
Who’s the artist to look out for?
Shirley Temper. They’re a DJ making waves in the scene right now who also produces jungle for the hot girl ravers. The first tune in my mix is their “Miss Camaraderie Dub”and they have some bangers under their belt already!

“I am NOLI, a DJ and producer from south-east London. I’ve only been in the scene since December 2023 but fallen in love with dance music. One of my goals is to create a space for queer, BIPOC ravers to express themselves and feel safe on the dance floor, whilst dancing to music of all different genres: so I founded Amen Gyaldem - an inclusive community for ravers.”
